Videos Types of Synovial Joints
Synovial joints are by far the most common classification of the joint within the human body. They are very mobile and have all a joint capsule (collagenous structure) around the entire joint, a synovial membrane (the inner layer of the capsule), the synovial fluid (a lubricant) and cartilage as hyaline cartilage, the ends of the pad known separates the articulating bone. There are 6 types of synovial joints, which are classified by the shape of the joints and the movement available.
